Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown) (18:59): It is with sadness that I advise the House of the passing of Thelma Margaret O'Neill, commonly known as Tillie. Tillie was born on 13 April 1940 in Galway, Ireland, and died in Campbelltown on 9 January 2024. She studied nursing in Surrey, England, and moved to Australia on 19 October 1964. In 1977 she moved to Campbelltown, where she was a nurse, working right across west and south-west Sydney. She loved Campbelltown, and Campbelltown loved her. I acknowledge my good friend the member for Macquarie Fields, who was also a friend of Tillie's. She is survived by Michael; her children, Eileen, Christine and Michael; and her many grandchildren. We attended her funeral at Ruse Catholic Church. It was a truly special occasion to be there to celebrate the life of Tillie. Rest in peace, Tillie. We will never forget you.
