That this House:

(1) Notes the previous Government's decade of neglect which saw teacher vacancies rise across the state to above 3,000 positions.

(2) Commends the Government for delivering on its ongoing commitment to provide permanent roles for temporary teachers and support staff.

(3) Notes the decline in teacher vacancies across New South Wales to its lowest level in three years.
