That this House:   

(1) Notes that Monday 11 November 2024 marked Remembrance Day, the signing of the Armistice.

(2) Recognises the more than 400,000 soldiers who served, the more than 60,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice and the 156,000 soldiers who were wounded.

(3) Acknowledges the service and sacrifice of all those who served, and continue to serve in the defence force and the families that have supported them.

(4) Thanks the local RSLs and Councils for conducting these services for all of us to acknowledge.
