That this House:

(1) Congratulates the Government for its investment of $252.2 million to deliver 1,300 new apprentices and trainees in councils across New South Wales.

(2) Notes this investment will create new career opportunities across all 128 Local Government councils in New South Wales, including rural and regional communities.

(3) Congratulates Graeme Kelly OAM and the United Services Union for their strong advocacy on behalf of the local government sector
