CAMPBELLTOWN GIRL GUIDES

10 May 2023

Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown) (15:21):
Congratulations, Madam Deputy Speaker. I take this opportunity to thank you for your good contributions. I am delighted to speak this afternoon about the Campbelltown Girl Guides, who this year celebrate 75 years of service. I was delighted to be in beautiful Kentlyn one Sunday morning to acknowledge their sound contribution that began not long after World War II. All the executives, managers and girls have contributed so much, not just to the community of Campbelltown. By extending goodwill, lessons and learning of teamwork in each other and in young women, they have prospered into the great women they are today. Women who began in the Campbelltown Girl Guides in the early days were in attendance and it was good to see the mentorship they have provided over 75 years. The mentorship that continues to be provided is truly inspiring. Well done, Mrs Norrie. I thank them for everything they have given. I wish the Campbelltown Girl Guides all the best for the next 75 years of service.
