Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown)— I would like to acknowledge everyone who has been involved with the many Anzac ceremonies that were hosted across my electorate of Campbelltown. Campbelltown RSL Sub‑Branch and Campbelltown City Council have regularly run outstanding commemorative services in our community. The Campbelltown area has a long and proud military history, amongst other things, being home to Victoria Cross recipient Warrant Officer Kevin Wheatley. Many individuals from Campbelltown and beyond served in armed conflicts to fight for and defend the freedoms that we are so privileged to have. I was so heartened to see this years' service and march so well attended by members of our community, in particular many of our school students. There have been conversations about the younger generation not understanding or valuing the Anzac spirit as much as some of the older generations do, but every year when I see our students attending dawn services, marches and commemorative services, I am reminded that the Anzac spirit remains in good hands.
