Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown) (19:18): I am delighted to recognise a wonderful woman in our community whom I am lucky to call my friend, Ms Annamaria Wood, who received an OAM on Australia Day. Annamaria was the CEO of Disability Macarthur for more than 26 years and oversaw services that supported both children and adults with disability right across the region. Annamaria is a long-term Macarthur resident and a bastion of our community. She has had such a positive impact on so many people, and she continues to do so. She was originally a community nurse specialising in supporting those with disabilities and spent almost 20 years gaining experience before starting her role at Disability Macarthur. During her time at Disability Macarthur, Annamaria oversaw major growth in the organisation to the tune of almost $4 million. She is simply an amazing woman, and a representation of the many amazing women in Campbelltown and the Macarthur. I congratulate her and everyone else who was recognised on Australia Day.
