NSW Budget a win for Campbelltown

The NSW Budget has provided support to Campbelltown families who are feeling the sting of cost-of-living rises, whilst also rebuilding the strength of our essential services. Housing services have been given additional funding to combat the ongoing housing crisis.

Wildlife care measures acknowledge the importance of Campbelltown’s chlamydia-free koala colony and transport upgrades support the ongoing development of the Mt Gilead estate.

The budget also fulfills the Local Small Commitments of $300,000 for homeless support services; $30 000 for senior cyber support and $70,000 for upgrades at Fullwood Reserve.

The budget addresses many of the key concerns of Campbelltown residents, cost-of-living, housing and essential services.

Campbelltown koalas are some of our most precious residents and I am glad to see the budget treating them as such.

Our essential workers are so important to the Campbelltown community, and the support that they are getting through the budget is well deserved.
