Member for Campbelltown Greg Warren MP is encouraging local residents to take part in a free Scams Awareness Workshop aimed at helping the community stay safe from increasingly sophisticated scams.
The workshop, delivered in partnership with Westpac and Campbelltown City Council, will give attendees practical tools to recognise, avoid, and respond to scam activity.
WHEN: Thursday 19 February 2026, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
WHERE: Campbelltown Civic Hall
COST: Free entry
Mr Warren said the session will provide valuable insights for people of all ages.
“Scammers are constantly finding new ways to target members of our community, and staying informed is one of the best ways to protect yourself,” Mr Warren said. “This workshop will give our residents the knowledge and confidence to spot the warning signs before it’s too late.”
The Campbelltown Westpac team will present on common scam types, share practical tips to safeguard personal information, and outline what a legitimate bank will never ask customers to do — helping attendees understand exactly what to look out for.
Community members are encouraged to register their interest or seek further information by contacting the office of Greg Warren MP at [email protected].
