WE’RE BUILDING 6 NEW PRESCHOLS ACROSS CAMPBELLTOWN
New co-located public preschools are being built at local public schools, including Blairmont Public School, Bradbury Public School, Leumeah Public School, Ruse Public School, Thomas Acres Public School and Woodland Road Public School.

These public preschools will help bring down costs for families, improve access to early education and give our kids the best start in life.

We have also supported families with the largest ever increase of preschool
fee relief for parents.

MORE TEACHERS FOR OUR CHILDREN
Because of the former Liberal National Government’s unfair wages cap and neglect of public education, teacher vacancies reached an all time high, resulting in 10,000 merged and cancelled classes across NSW every day.

When the Minns Labor Government was elected one of our priorities was to rebuild our education system. Just in the last two and a half years we’ve:

- Delivered the largest pay rise in a generation to all of NSW’s public school teachers;

- Reduced teacher vacancies across NSW by 61 per cent, meaning our kids are spending more time learning in class and receiving more one-on-one attention from their teachers; and 

-Nearly halved the number of merged and cancelled classes by getting more teachers into the classroom.

Rebuilding our education system takes time but, we are committed to getting the job done.
